Summer Concert Series, from the sounds of original and cover rock at Friday
Night LIVE! to the fun, tropical rhythms of Hot Harbor Nights on Saturdays, to the
patriotic sounds of Celebrate America Sunday, the Summer Concerts Series promises
to please music lovers of all ages. Beginning Friday, May 29, the series will run
through Sunday, September 6. Friday Night LIVE is 5-8pm every Friday, Hot Harbor
Nights is 7-10pm every Saturday, and Celebrate America Sundays is every Sunday from
7-8:30pm.
Richard Scarry's Busytown, a hands-on science and technology play community
inspired by Richard Scarry's books, What Do People Do All Day?, Cars and Trucks and
Things That Go, and Busiest People Ever, children and parents can work together with
Huckle Cat, Hlda Hippo, and Lowly Worm to see how people in a community depend upon

Discover Mars, travel to the Red Planet for a glimpse at a neighboring world,
check out the finds of the Sojourner Rover and see how the planet's features relate
to those of Earth, compare a Martian year and its seasons to our own calendar, through

Everest and Thrill Ride, join the daring leaders of the Mt. Everest Expedition
as they take audiences on a spellbinding ascent to the top of the world's highest
and most romanticized mountain. Take a Thrill Ride and experience a super-charged,
white-knuckle adventure, while tracing the evolution of amusement park technology,
through October 1 at the IMAX Theater in the Maryland Science Center, 410-685-5225.

Safari Sunsets, Check out some of the best bands in town, enjoy refreshments
and visit the animals and watch the sun set. Every Saturday evening starting June

Race Car: The Science of Speed, keep your hands on the wheel, your eyes on

Mistress of Mount Clare, this exhibition focuses on Margaret Tilghman Carroll,

Israel's 50th: Up Close and Personal, An Evening with Kenny G, the world-reknowned
instrumentalist will perform for the Baltimore community in celebration of Israel's
